What’s New!!!
The 2012 Wheel Options Campaign was a success. Congratulations to the 409 new and 1,190 returning Kent participants in this annual campaign to promote alternative transportation options. A special congratulations goes to our local winner, Curtis Fukushima of the Boeing Space Center, Kent. Curtis won a package worth two nights lodging at the Chrysalis Inn and Spa in Bellingham and a $100 gift certificate to The Fino Restaurant within the Lodge. Curtis is the driver of his vanpool and has been vanpooling from north Seattle to Kent for the last 4 1/2 years. He says that it not only saves money but it also saves time. Driving can be a lot of responsiblity but he has the perfect temperament for keeping calm and focused. Others in the van are able to sleep and relax. He really enjoys vanpooling and wonders why more people don't try it. Information on other regional winners at the Wheel Options website: http://wheeloptions.org/winners/.
