After-School All-Stars

After-School All-Stars is an award winning after-school recreation program for middle school students.
All-Stars is a middle-school recreation program for students at Mill Creek and Meridian Middle School.

Cooking Club

Students must register, but the program is Free.
All-Star Clubs include sports, cooking and art.
Towards the end of the school year, college field trips are taken, as well as incentive programs for students in tutorial.

The goals of the program:

To provide positive after school activities and a safe, structured and supervised environment for middle school students.
This program is perfect for students not involved in school sports or school activities, or between sports and programs their school offers.
To give students incentives to succeed in school and to support their efforts to do their best!

The program offers a variety of clubs and activities, field trips, incentives programs and a connection with the 21^st Century Grant program at each school. Field trips include college visits, outings to local parks and museums and just-for-fun trips to the Tukwila Family Fun Center and more. Join the fun today!

The City of Kent is the recipient of the 2009 Outstanding Teen Services Program Award from the Washington Recreation and Parks Association for our After School All-Stars Program.

Our programs host up to 60 students a day and on average we see about 33 students participating in our activities on a regular basis.
