Community Garden Pea Patch
Welcome to the City of Kent Community Garden web site!
Please note: The 2009 season will come to a close on October 31st, please check back in February 2010

A relaxing way to spend a day
This garden is a special partnership between the City of Kent and the Kent Bishop’s Storehouse and Cannery.
The land is on Storehouse property and the city manages the P-Patch Program. We rely heavily on you, the gardener, to help maintain the property.
We offer 20’ X 20’ plots, several shelters, composting bins, water hoses and bibs.

Lush, rich, organic soil
In addition, the garden is a great place to meet others who enjoy gardening, get out in the sun, exercise and save a bundle on produce!

A place for the family to go
The rich soil of the Kent Valley is well known for yielding great produce and the location offers lots of sun for your plants to thrive in.
For more information please call (253) 856-5030
Please read and familiarize yourself with our Community Garden P-Patch Guidelines. We will send you this information once you have registered.
Kent Food Bank
As a Kent Community Gardener, we encourage you to donate any extra produce you may have to the Kent Food Bank. Rarely does the Food Bank enjoy fresh produce and we have an opportunity to help those less fortunate in our community. In addition, we ask that you register as a Community Gardener at the Food Bank. This way, we can track how much food the garden can produce for those in the community!
