We’re back at Russell Road Park!
The Christmas Rush is going back home to celebrate 31 years of running in Kent. The race will now start and stop and Russell Road Park much like it did before the sandbags came along. Kids' age 13 and under will run for free courtesy of our sponsors MultiCare Health System. Follow us on Facebook.

Early Bird Packet Pick Up
RoadRunner Sports – Wednesday December 4, 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Come to RoadRunner Sports at Kent Station to pick up your race number and be ready to go on race day! Numbers and shirts can be picked up on race day also.
Random Prize Drawing
A random drawing will be conducted while you are enjoying the run. Please check at the awards table to see if you're a winner! You must have your race number with your to claim your prize.
10k Course
The 10k runners will do a big loop. Runners will start on Russell Road and head south to Meeker St. and turn right. Once over the bridge, turn north on Frager Road and run to 212th. At 212th turn right to go over the river and then turn right again to head south on Russell Road. Follow Russell Road to finish located in front of city shops building on 240th.
5k Course
The 5k course is a modified out and back. Runners will start on Russell Road and head south to Meeker St. and turn right. Once over the bridge, turn north on to Frager Road remembering to stay on the left side of the road. (Running clockwise) Turn around at the appropriate spot and stay to your left side on the return trip. Runners will turn left and go over foot bridge that leads to golf course. Once over foot bridge, turn north on to the trail along the river. Follow to finish located in front of city shops building on 240th.
Directions
From I-5: Take Kent/Des Moines Exit. Head east down the hill. Go through Meeker St. light and continue to Washington Ave. Turn left on Washington and proceed to Meeker Street. Turn left on Meeker St. and go approximately two miles. Turn right on Russell Road and go two blocks. Parking will be on your right. Please do not leave valuables in vehicle.
From Hwy 167: Take Willis St. Exit. Head west on Willis St. to Washington Ave and turn right. Proceed to Meeker Street and turn left. Go approximately two miles and turn right on Russell Road. Go two blocks and parking will be on your right at Russell Road Park. Follow signs to walk to Registration and Starting area. Please do not leave valuables in vehicle.
