Residential Traffic Calming Program 

Traffic conditions on residential streets can greatly affect neighborhood livability. The Residential Traffic Calming Program (RTCP) addresses neighborhood traffic safety concerns while partnering with citizens and/or community groups to become actively involved in the improvement process.

The Residential Traffic Calming Program addresses traffic concerns through a two-phase approach.  

RadarPhase I:  Changing Driver Behavior

Phase I focuses on education, enforcement, pavement legends, and signage. 

 

Traffic Circle Icon Phase II:  Physically Changing the Roadway 

 If there is sufficient data to support physical devices Phase II will be implemented.
