2013 Fourth of July Splash
We share your excitement for the 4th of July!
We are working on another festive line up of music and entertainment. If you are a band, singer or performer and would like to participate as a part of the Fourth of July Splash, please fill out the Community Showcase Application and send it in today. When and Where
- Thursday, July 4 from 12:00 noon to approximately 11:00 p.m.
- Lake Meridian Park – 14800 SE 272nd St.

Free Shuttle Bus and Parking Locations
Shuttle buses run approximately every 20 minutes from parking areas to Lake Meridian.
- Kent Fire Station #75, 15635 SE 272nd St.
- Kentwood High School, 25800 164th SE
- Meridian Elementary, 25621 140th Ave SE
Parking at Lake Meridian is by permit only. Follow Event Parking signs to the shuttle parking lots.

From 12noon - 5pm, enjoy a variety of games, family activities and art projects!

- T-Bird Puck and Shoot
- Allied Waste Recycling Activity
- Food Booths
- A community showcase highlighting local talent
- Old fashioned games, pie eating contest and more!

(Please note personal fireworks are not permitted in any City of Kent Parks)
Food Vendors
The Fourth of July Splash is seeking food vendors to be a part of the 2013 event. Applicants must meet King County Department of Health standards, fiscal responsibiltiy, technical feasibility, booth presentation and price. Please complete the Food Vendor Application Form and send it in by April 19, 2013.
