About the Kent Arts Commission
More than 30 years ago, the citizens and leaders of Kent recognized that the arts are a significant part of the quality of life, growth and vitality of a community. The mission of the Kent Arts Commission is to provide leadership in establishing cultural opportunities and arts education; to improve the quality of life and enhance the aesthetic environment; and to promote Kent as a center for great arts. Over its 30-year history, the Commission has provided Kent residents access to the region’s best performing, visual and literary arts.

Regional Affiliates
Take Part in Art, presented by ArtsFund, is an arts events calendar for the greater Puget Sound area that includes music, dance, theater and the visual arts.
The South King County Cultural Coalition (SoCo) aims to increase the visibility and participation in South King County cultural programs by connecting artists, audiences and cultural resources.
Washington Festivals & Events Association (WFEA) is dedicated to promoting the common business interests of the festivals and events industry in Washington State and to provide opportunities for professional education and leadership development for individuals and organizations within the festivals & events industry.
