Jewelry Policy:
Participants are not allowed to wear any jewelry (necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc.) while playing. Those participants that have medical I.D. bracelets may wear a wristband over the bracelet. Hair control devices may be worn if made of soft material and not for adornment.
Lystedt Law Information
This summer Washington State passed the "Lystedt Law" which covers head injuries in youth sports. Every coach, parent and participant should be informed as to the signs of head injuries. Please click the links below for more information.

General information
- Teams are formed at the local Kent School District Schools. Please see coach for registration information.
- Only students attending schools participating in the track program are eligible.
- Students can only participate at the school in which they attend.
- Home School students may call Kent Parks for participation information.
- Team size may be limited.
- Parents of those participating should arrange transportation to and from track meets.
- Weekly track meets will be held at the Wilson Playfields (13028 SE 251 Street, Kent).
Wilson Playfields Track Information
- Tennis shoes or rubber-molded cleats are the only approved shoes allowed. No track shoes with any type of spikes or designated for spikes are allowed. Metal cleats, spikes, or shoes with the cleats/spikes removed are not allowed. Violators may be expelled from the facility.
- Track meets start at 4:15 p.m. and are scheduled Monday - Thursday; Fridays for possible rainout make-ups.
- No Track meets the week of Spring Break.
