Dog Daze and Feline Fantasies Comes to Kent Station September 25

Morford Family Carousel Opening Pushed Back to July 16

KENT, Wash. – July 1, 2010 – The Morford Family Carousel will take its first spins on Friday, July 16, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  The City and the non-profit operating group had planned to open on July 14, as soon after Cornucopia Days as possible. But set-up, including a required electrical inspection, could not be guaranteed within such a tight window.

Kent Welcomes our New Panther Lake Residents

On November 4, 2009, a majority of voting residents located in the Panther Lake area chose to annex to the City of Kent.  The annexation took effect July 1, 2010, making Kent sixth largest city in the state with a population of 112,380. 

Please join us in welcoming approximately 24,000 residents and hundreds of businesses into our city.
